New representation for Benjamin Bernheim

We are delighted to announce that Ibermúsica Artists will undertake the Spanish, Portuguese and Latin America (with the exception of Puerto Rico) representation of one of the most internationally acclaimed performers in the current scene: tenor Benjamin Bernheim.

The French artist is a frequent guest at prominent opera houses, such as the Opéra national de Paris, Wiener Staatsoper, Staatsoper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, Metropolitan Opera House in New Yorkand the Royal Opera House in London, where he takes on leading tenor roles from the romantic repertoire.

In 2020, he was named Artiste Lyrique de l’Année (Opera Singer of the Year) at the Les Victoires de la Musique Awards in France; Personnalité Musicale de l’Année (Musical Personality of the Year) by Le Syndicat professionnel de la critique de théâtre, musique et danse; and Singer of the Year by Oper! Magazin.

His recent commitments include his role debut as Ruggero Lastouc in Puccini’s La rondine at Opernhaus Zürich, the title role in Offenbach’sLes contes d’Hoffmann at Opéra national de Paris, his highly-praised interpretation of the title role in Werther, which he performs twice, first at the Opernhaus Zürich and then at the Teatro alla Scala, and his much acclaimed Roméo in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, as he returns to the Metropolitan Opera.

On the concert stage, he performs a recital with pianist Carrie-Ann Matheson at Teatro alla Scala, a Liederabend at the Wiener Staatsoper, and a series of concerts with soprano Lisette Oropesa throughout Europe. His season concludes with a return to the Salzburger Festspiele as the title role in a new production of Les Contes d'Hoffmann.
