Renaud Capuçon will continue as Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne Artistic Director

Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne (OCL) has announceda second extension of Renaud Capuçon’s tenure as Artistic Director for a further two seasons through to the end of the 2028/29 season, having first taken the role in 2021.

Under Capuçon’s direction, the OCL has launched several acclaimed recordings, embarked on extensive international touring, and collaborated with many leading conductors and soloists, which in the upcoming season will include pianists Beatrice Rana, Bertrand Chamayou, Igor Levit, Mao Fujita, Katia and Marielle Labèque, and conductors Barbara Hannigan, Christoph Eschenbach or Eva Ollikainen.

On the occasion of the OCL’s 25/26 season announcement, Capuçon commented:

"To all those who support the OCL, I want to say thank you once again and tell you how happy and proud I am to be part of the development of this exceptional orchestra."

This week, OCL present its final "Grand Concert" subscription series performances of the season with Renaud as conductor, featuring Emanuel Ax as soloist.
