Josep Vicent will conduct a double performance at the prestigious Ljubljana Festival (Slovenia).
On June 30, he will lead a staged version of Haydn The Creation, alongside La Fura dels Baus, the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir, and ADDA Simfònica. On July 2, he will return to the same stage to perform Falla's El Amor Brujo.
"Ljubljana is home to a festival of enormous prestige and quality. I feel at home now after many years of collaborating with Slovenian and Spanish orchestras," stated Vicent. "This time is a doubly special occasion," he added, referring to the artistic connection he has maintained with La Fura dels Baus since 2015 and to the stage direction of Carlos Padrissa.
