Jonathan Nott embarks on a grand tour with the Orchester de la Suisse Romande and Midori

Jonathann Nott embarks on an extensive tour with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and Midori as soloist.
This tour will begin on February 11 at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid and continue in Zaragoza, Barcelona, ​​Tenerife, and Las Palmas, where the ensemble and its principal conductor will close the Canary Islands International Music Festival.
They will perform Debussy's Claire de Lune, Igor Stravinsky's celebrated Rite of Spring, and Jean Sibelius's Violin Concerto, the work with which Midori made her New York debut at the age of 11 under the baton of Zubin Mehta.
Jonathan Nott was appointed Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Swiss orchestra in January 2017, and will continue to lead the historic group until 2026. Nott was also Principal Conductor of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra from 2000 to 2016 and is currently Principal Conductor of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.
