Great success for Katia and Marielle Labèque in their recital on July 11 at the Perelada Festival, in which they performed works by Ravel, Schubert, and Glass.

"The French duo gave a lesson in how to manage proximity during Petit Poucet, punctuated by very delicate third and sixth scales, and producing some of the best three-handed passages. Asian sparkles prepared the entrance of the Empress of the Pagodas, a tremendously inspired reminiscence by the protagonists, followed by the musical evocation of Beauty and the Beast. They completed the first section with Jardin féerique (Sleeping Beauty), the work that gave the program its name, in an iridescent and spectacular performance."
