Biography

Sabrina Gárdez is a constantly evolving soprano who has demonstrated her ability to captivate audiences with her exceptional artistry. She has received masterclasses from Erika Grimaldi, Nelly Miricioiu, Juan Diego Flórez, Sonia Ganassi, Luciana Serra, Ernesto Palacio, Giulio Zappa, Giulio Laguzzi, Stanislav Angelov Hana Lee.

Highlights of her 2025–26 season include her performance as Sophie in Werther at both the Santiago de Chile Opera and ABAO Bilbao Opera, Venus in La púrpura de la rosa at the Lima Opera, and Pelléas et Mélisande at the A Coruña Opera. She will also perform with the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Gianandrea Noseda in Il Trittico, and will give a series of recitals alongside guitarist Bernardo Rambeau in Santander, Bilbao, Barcelona, and Madrid.

During the 2024–25 season, she made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu performing Lisa in La sonnambula, at the Teatro de la Maestranza with Iphigénie en Tauride, toured Spain with Carmina Burana alongside ADDA Simfònica and the Orfeón Donostiarra, and performed Musetta in La Bohème with the Fundació Òpera Catalunya.

In 2023, she participated in the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro, where she performed as Madama Cortese in Il viaggio a Reims, and appeared at the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo in Il diluvio universale, conducted by Riccardo Frizza, as well as in Il piccolo compositore di musica.

Sabrina Gárdez alternates her passion for opera with recitals and performing chamber music. She has been invited by the Gran Teatre del Liceu to give a private recital for the theater’s benefactors. She has performed in emblematic venues such as the Círculo del Liceo in Barcelona, the Círculo Ecuestre in Barcelona, and the Reial Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi. Gárdez has also participated in the concert series Les Veus del Monestir at the Monestir de Pedralbes (Barcelona) and in the concert season at the Casa Elizalde in Barcelona.

In 2022, she was awarded the First Prize and the Amics de l’Òpera de Sabadell Prize at the 5th Josep Palet Singing Contest in Martorell, as well as receiving a prize at the 5th Martín y Soler International Singing Competition.
