Ibermúsica Artists is delighted to welcome Clara-Jumi Kang, one of the most outstanding violinists of her generation, to its roster for management in Spain and Portugal.
A performer of remarkable depth and refinement, Clara-Jumi Kang appears regularly with the world’s leading orchestras, including the Santa Cecilia Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic, Budapest Festival Orchestra, and Israel Philharmonic.In Spain, she has collaborated with Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, Orquesta de Valencia, and Orquesta Ciudad de Granada.
Her close artistic relationships include collaborations with eminent conductors such as Lahav Shani, Zubin Mehta, Daniel Harding, Vasily Petrenko, Stéphane Denève, Juanjo Mena, Gianandrea Noseda, Ryan Bancroft and Kazuki Yamada.
An avid chamber musician, she performs at major international festivals such as Verbier, Martha Argerich’s Hamburg Festival, Evian, Festival Ravel, Schloss Elmau, Utrecht, Edinburgh and Marvão, alongside artists like Joshua Bell, Martha Argerich, Kirill Gerstein, Janine Jansen, Mischa Maisky, Denis Kozkhkhin, Mao Fujita, Steven Isserlis and Sunwook Kim.
In recital, Clara-Jumi Kang has appeared at leading venues including Walt Disney Concert Hall, Seoul Arts Center, Wigmore Hall, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Boulez Saal, Verbier Festival, and Luxembourg Philharmonie.
Her broad concerto repertoire spans the great violin concertos by Beethoven, Brahms, Sibelius, Prokofiev, Lalo, and Tchaikovsky, as well as works by Britten, Korngold, Adams, and Shostakovich. Highlights of the 2025/26 season include performances of Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC NOW and Bernstein’s Serenade with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic.
