The Verbier Festival has announced the program for its next edition, which will take place from July 16 to August 2, 2026, featuring eight Ibermúsica artists who will be part of the thirty-third edition of the prestigious Swiss festival.
Bruce Liu, First Prize winner of the Chopin Competition, will bring Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 to life.
Clara-Jumi Kang will be part of a top-tier chamber ensemble for Mendelssohn’s Piano and Strings Sextet. She will also play Schumann Piano Trio No. 2 in F major Op. 80 with Minsoo Sohn and Pablo Ferrández.
Pablo Sainz-Villegas has concocted a grandiose recital for the Verbier Festival, blending the legacies of Albeniz and Turina with those of Bach and Villa-Lobos.
Mao Fujita will appear in three concerts. He will perform the orchestral version of Mozart’s Variations on “Ah! vous dirai-je, Maman” by Ernst von Dohnányi, he will play works by Bach, Mozart and Schubert togehter with Leonidas Kavakos, and will play Schubert’s tragic and moving Trio No. 2 in E-flat major, Op. 100 with Joshua Bell and Steven Isserlis.
To close the 2026 edition, Vasily Petrenko, one of the foremost Tchaikovsky will conduct the Suite from the most beloved Russian ballet of the 20th century, Romeo and Juliet.

Kian Soltani, one of the most acclaimed cellists of his generation, sought after by today’s leading conductors (Barenboim, Gatti, Pappano, Shani…). Yet he remains deeply connected to his oriental roots and, with his ensemble Shiraz — founded by his father — enjoys presenting creative programmes inspired by Persian music. In addition, they will perform in three other concerts, playing chamber music with musicians such as Daniel Lozakovich, Yunchan Lim, Clara-Jumi Kang, Julien Quentin, and Marc Bouchkov.
The Leonkoro Quartet proposses journey through shadow and light as Schubert and David Lang explore the voices of Death — one through intimate song, the other through a modern echo.
