Josep Vicent and ADDA Simfònica triumph on their first tour in Japan
25th November 2025

On November 8th, Josep Vicent and ADDA Simfònica concluded their Japan tour in Osaka after two concerts at Tokyo’s renowned Suntory Hall. Playing to full houses, the Alicante-based orchestra and its principal conductor brought to a close seven concerts in six cities—Fukuoka, Shunan, Kawasaki, Mie-Ken, Osaka, and Tokyo—performed between October 29th and November 8th.

In Japan, the orchestra presented four different programmes, combining Spanish music by composers such as Joaquín Rodrigo and Manuel de Falla with works by Maurice Ravel, Georges Bizet, and Frédéric Chopin.

They were also joined by two exceptional soloists: pianist Martín García García, highly acclaimed in Japan, and Japanese classical guitarist Kaori Muraji.

Vicent’s conducting, along with the ensemble’s and soloists’ exceptional quality, was praised by audiences, who filled the concert halls and contributed to several sold-out performances, making ADDA Simfònica’s first major Asian tour a resounding success.

In Japan, the orchestra was described as vibrant, distinctive, and full of color, while critics praised Josep Vicent’s conducting for its expressive and bold energy.

This tour was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Ibermúsica and Nippon Artists.
